Thanks for posting these, Joel. We weren’t anti-Halloween in our family, although I remember hearing about some who were concerned about it. I am interested today in how it’s become such a major holiday for people above 20; it almost seems like a new national holiday. I’m guessing that this comes partly from the desire of people in their 20s and 30s to stay young, partly from people who can make money commercializing it for young adults, and partly because of the attraction of the gruesome and/or lustful aspects Halloween and horror-movie culture.
