Delete an Adobe Account

If you have an account with Adobe online and you want to delete it, you’ll find no instructions on how to do so. At least, I didn’t find any. So I asked about it, and here is how you do it:

Send an email to privacy-officer@adobe.com. In the email, include the following:

Customer First and Last Name:
Customer ID Number:  [if you know it]
Customer email address:
Customer request:

They should get it done within a week or so.

  1. So that’s how it’s done… I just sent them a mail. Gosh, thank you for posting this. I don’t know why it is so hard to put that tiny e-mail address on their site. They probably know, that most of the people are to lazy to call the support…

  2. I think they don’t want you to do it so they make it hard to find. Most companies seem to function like that.

  3. I found this to be quite helpful. I didn’t know that they wouldn’t allow you to directly terminate your account so easily that you have to give a legit reason to cancel it. but i have a question, if i don’t my ID, and i only gave them my e-mail address, will they still be able to cancel my account? just curious and worried. i really don’t have any use for that account.

ty so much for posting this. I have been running in circules about this problem e several others. I dont understand why a companie with excelente products gives a such bad suport. I have been having many probles also becaus I cant talk to tham as calling is to expensive for me as I leave in Portugal.

I would like so much to have only 1 person in adobe that would talk to me using email, never got it.
Now I mailed them using the email you posted.

  5. I’m trying this myself to unshackle myself from their “creative cloud”. I will keep my fingers crossed.

  6. Or you can just change the email address to something obscure so you won’t have to deal with it again. xD
